Her journey in psychodrama, sociometry, group psychotherapy, and active group methods has been shaped by institutions like the Swedish and Latvian Moreno Institutes, NBE, and IFS in Germany. She also studied psychology, holds a master’s degree in pedagogy (Mg. Pead), and Social Sciences (TQM).With a career spanning over three decades, she actively practices in the fields of psychodrama, psychotherapy, and systemic supervision in Latvia, the Baltic States, and Eastern Europe. Since 2003, Gita has led a certified private practice, specializing in individual and group psychotherapy, systemic supervision, and career management.Her expertise covers a range of sectors from social services to education, professional psychology, and psychotherapy. Contributions include her work with Riga City social service workers, the Latvian Probation Service, and the Health and Work Ability Expertise commission. These projects are testaments to her commitment to improving workplace wellbeing and life-work balance.Gita developed management training programs for various commercial entities and state agencies, enhancing leadership skills across diverse sectors. Between 2012 and 2015, she supervised a training and selection program at Latvian Railroads for executive management.
