Gita Paspārne, TEP in Psychodrama, Sociometry and Group Psychotherapy; Systemic Supervisor and Organizational Development Consultant.Gita Paspārne is a psychodrama psychotherapist, group therapist, systemic supervisor, and business trainer. Her journey in psychodrama, sociometry, group psychotherapy, and active group methods has been shaped by institutions like the Swedish and Latvian Moreno Institutes, NBE, and IFS in Germany. She also studied psychology, holds a master’s degree in pedagogy (Mg. Pead), and Social Sciences (TQM).With a career spanning over three decades, she actively practices in the fields of psychodrama, psychotherapy, and systemic supervision in Latvia, the Baltic States, and Eastern Europe. Since 2003, Gita has led a certified private practice, specializing in individual and group psychotherapy, systemic supervision, and career management.Her expertise covers a range of sectors from social services to education, professional psychology, and psychotherapy. Contributions include her work with Riga City social service workers, the Latvian Probation Service, and the Health and Work Ability Expertise commission. These projects are testaments to her commitment to improving workplace wellbeing and life-work balance.Gita developed management training programs for various commercial entities and state agencies, enhancing leadership skills across diverse sectors. Between 2012 and 2015, she supervised a training and selection program at Latvian Railroads for executive management. Gita taught psychology in academic institutions from 1990 until 2009.In the realm of social activities, Gita has been an active management board member within several professional societies, including the Society of Psychotherapists of Latvia, the Society of Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy of Latvia, and the Association "Education for Tomorrow", which reflects her dedication to advancing educational and psychotherapeutic practices.Gita’s career is marked by innovation, leadership, and a deep commitment to enhancing individual and organizational well-being.
