Director, Zerka Moreno Foundation | Fellow, ASGPP | Hannah B. Weiner Award RecipientEdward Schreiber is a certified Trainer, Educator, and Practitioner (TEP) in Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy. He is the Director of the Zerka Moreno Foundation (Zerka Foundation) and a core member of the Growing A New Heart Consortium of Trainers. A Fellow of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP) and recipient of the Hannah B. Weiner Award, Ed has dedicated his life to advancing the social justice applications of J.L. and Zerka Moreno’s work.He works extensively with the Social Microscope of Sociatry, an innovative approach grounded in Moreno’s vision for social transformation and healing. Ed is also a committed social justice activist, weaving sociometric and psychodramatic methods into community, educational, and therapeutic contexts.He is the co-author of the chapter on Psychodrama, Sociometry, Sociatry, and Group Psychotherapy in the acclaimed Kaplan & Sadock's Comprehensive Textbook of Psychiatry, and the editor of To Dream Again: A Memoir by Zerka Moreno.Edward provides national and international training through Mentored Programs of Study, continuing to inspire practitioners and communities through the deep legacy of Moreno’s methods.
