Ichiro Okajima
Ichiro (Okkady) Okajima, M.A., Certified Tele’Drama Practitioner (CTP – Level 2).
Ichiro Okajima, known by most as Okkady, is the chair of the department of Psychology for Nishikyushu University, Japan. He first experienced psychodrama when he was a freshman at the university, and was attracted by the mental enrichment and camaraderie that psychodrama brings. As a result, he researched warm-ups of psychodrama at graduate school and earned a master's degree in educational psychology. Okkady joined the TELE'DRAMA team in search of a new method of psychodrama in response to COVID-19. He showed a method called "Treasure's Message" and some Japanese culture at the 2021 TELE'DRAMA Conference. The 14-hour time difference is a challenge for him, but he is once again experiencing the warmth of people and personal growth.
