Ron Wiener, PhD
Ron Wiener is a former honorary President of the British Psychodrama Association and is a senior sociodrama trainer awarded a lifetime achievement award in 2008. He co-lead the Sociodrama and Action Methods Training (MPV/SAM) in England with Di Adderley. He has run trainings and/or workshops across Europe, in Russia, China and India as well as in America and Australia. He is a founding member of ISCAN, the International Sociodrama and Creative Action Network and has been a consultant for the seven international sociodrama conferences. He is co-editor of Sociodrama in a Changing World, and author of Drug Taking Among School Children (which was his PhD thesis), Creative Training, and Community Action: The Belfast Experience, in addition to numerous articles and book chapters. In his semi-retirement, Ron loves being a grandparent, and also works as a mentor and community theatre director, which includes two improvisation workshops on zoom, and an Asian theatre company.
