Comprehensive Tele’Drama Director Training
Program Description
This training teaches a clear, step-by-step Tele’Drama methodology for directing Sociodrama in the online space. Participants will learn how to select and apply sociodrama-appropriate sociometric exercises, beginning with exploring the sociometry of the group through warm-ups that prepare participants for collective action. From there, the process moves into group brainstorming and engaging the energy of the group, identifying emerging themes, and facilitating team selection.Participants will learn to identify and develop emerging social roles, create sociodramatic scenes—including realistic scenes in the virtual space—and then explore both initial and additional roles using classical Morenian action techniques, including role reversal, doubling, mirroring, soliloquy, aside, and surplus reality enactments. Multiple forms of doubling appropriate for Sociodrama will be practiced.Reaching and supporting a group catarsis of abreaction, allowing participants to express and recognize the social issues, roles, and tensions present in the group; and then moving toward a group catarsis of integration or healing, where new meanings, roles, and directions emerge and the group experiences clarity, cohesion, and restoration. The session concludes with Sociodrama-appropriate sharing and processing focused on social learning rather than personal therapy.
