Archetypal Tele'Drama  is an innovative experience in which  Archetypal Jungian Psychodrama is connected with Daniela Simmons' Tele'Drama.

The work in groups through images, symbolic paths and sharing stories was the title of an important IAGP Symposium, coordinated by Wilma Scategni and held in Rome in 2009; and of a book published with all collected articles.

Wilma Scategni’s “Psychodama: group processes and dreams / Archetypal Image of individuation”  is a book, translated in 4 languages, published in English by Routledge in 2003 with Marcia Karp’s beautiful foreword.

The fundamental aim of the research of deep Jungian psychology is represented by the effort to harmonize and to make the relationship richer and more dynamic between the conscious ego and the unconscious, in its individual and collective aspects.

Images emerged from the dreams, “active imagination”, creative writing and expressive arts are often similar and in connection with the same symbols. In the myths and fairy tales (frequently connected) are often represented by the same images, as symbolic expressions of the collective unconscious. This is made particularly evident in analytical work in psychodrama groups.

Tele'Drama in connection with Jungian psychodrama offers a lot of new possibilities opening to a new area of research and opportunities, whose applications can be a resource in many areas… not only in therapeutic field (Therapeutic communities, psychological and psychiatric service, but also in educative and social area, drug addiction, couple and family therapy… etc.).

Tele'Drama has added many possibilities to invent, discover and update new techniques connected with every unique particular context. In this method, each participant is brought to measure himself against the conscious and unconscious expression and contents of the group.

Music, writing, painting, painting, body movement and dance are an important support.

We will use muppets, masks, puppets and music.

It is suggested to the participants to have colorful scarves and other props on hand, and drawing material (paper, pen, colors - better if watercolors, pastels, etc),

Learning Objective:

(Let people learn what they will learn!)

1. Explain the first step of the synthetic method for working with groups in many fields (therapeutic- psico-socio -educational context,  family and couple therapy, Institutions, school, communities, prisons, senior residence etc.)

2. Identify the best possibilities for the participants to use expressive tools and in what situations they can use them in their professional practice both online and/or in person
