Session 1 – Mapping Out Couple ConflictMonday, December 8, 2025
Description:
This session focuses on understanding conflict patterns within relationships through the integration of Gottman’s research-based principles and Psychodramatic exploration. Participants will learn how to identify the underlying emotional needs driving conflict and how to map interaction cycles using action methods. Through guided enactments, participants will explore communication breakdowns, emotional flooding, and the unspoken dynamics that sustain recurring disputes.

Identify the major predictors of relationship conflict using Gottman’s framework.
Map a couple’s conflict cycle through psychodramatic and sociometric techniques.
Recognize emotional flooding and physiological signs that disrupt constructive communication.

Session 2 – Repair Work for CouplesMonday, December 15, 2025
Description:
Building on insights from the first session, this experiential workshop highlights repair and reconnection strategies for couples. Using Gottman’s interventions and Psychodrama role training, participants will practice methods for rebuilding trust, empathy, and intimacy after conflict. The session emphasizes the art of repair through action—offering techniques that foster emotional attunement, mutual respect, and resilience within relationships.
